The NAMES Foundation…

There are a lot of different ways you can get involved with The Quilt and join in the struggle against HIV and AIDS...

Become A Donor
Your donation of money or securities supports the preservation of The Quilt, its continuing growth, our display and education programs, our National Chapter program and much, much more.

Several options are available, including our Friends of the Quilt sustainer program, one-time and annual giving and "Planned Giving" (wills, trusts, gift annuities and retirement plans are examples of "planned giving" - learn more in our Planned Giving Basics guide.) If you wish to make a one-time donation or join our sustainer program, you can now do so online. Visit our web store for more information or to donate now!

If you have questions or would like to know more about our donor programs or planned giving, email us at or call (404) 688-5500 ext. 224.

Host A Display
All the information you need is online- even the display application! Find out more about how you can bring a portion of the AIDS Memorial Quilt to your community!

Join a Chapter

Make A Panel
The original and still most important way to get involved with The AIDS Memorial Quilt is by joining in the world's largest piece of community folk-art - becoming a panel maker! Remember and honor the life of a loved one you have lost to AIDS, or help someone you know to make a panel. [+] More

Volunteer with The Quilt
You can volunteer to help out at the Foundation's national office in Atlanta, at one of our NAMES Project Chapters or even at a display. In fact, you might be able to volunteer without ever leaving your home- translation and graphics services are always in demand around here!
